This website is under construction. Please bear with me. Soon we'll have Hello World.

The Reading Room contains nonfiction articles and books of a general interest nature. Coming soon.

Reading Room General Articles. Beginning with Fictionwise (2000-2012), I have published books and articles on various subjects over the years. I have researched and written about topics that interested me, from when our next ice age might happen (tomorrow) to the ghost of British empire that lived on in the Confederate flag. Some of these are also Secrets Hidden in Plain Sight (SHIPS). More info coming soon.

Holocene Mysteries: Secrets Hidden In Plain Sight (SHIPS) consists of specific puzzles of history that I have tackled. Many of them will startle readers. All are informative. Coming soon.

Sharpwriter was my first personal website, launched 1998 on the heels of other Internet publishing projects dating back to early 1996. After a ten year hiatus, I will re-launch it as a web magazine about publishing and writing issues. More info coming soon.

Disassume Word Histories involves studies of etymology as they reveal hidden truths of history, including major themes of Macrohistory, Quantum History, and Isohistory. Beginning with the words we use, and their underlying often erroneous assumptions, we deconstruct history to more understandably reconstruct it. More info coming soon.

Time Ruins. Chronambulists (time walkers) from upstream journey through history to observe, analyze, and liaise—without changing anything. The chronambulists' observations may surprise us at times as they uncover greater and lesser Holocene Mysteries often hidden in plain sight. More information soon.

Welcome to
Café Okay

Nonfiction by John T. Cullen.

This is the nonfiction side of my webplex. It includes areas in which I research and write nonfiction (books, essays, and articles). Pull up a chair, set your caffeine down, and join the table as we discuss the mysteries of time, space, and our own lives. This metaphor is inspired by my daily outing for an hour or two spent with friends and books at a major coffee shop and bookstore in a local mall. More info soon. Stay tuned.
